Shameless promotion

In the news today: the best description of environmentally generated individual differences within an evolutionarily generalized psychological mechanism that I’ve read since Lee Kirkpatrick’s most excellent book on attachment and religion.  I, of course, highly recommend that you buy the book; it’s funny, insightful, and will fundamentally and forever change the way that you think about science, about people, and about brains.  If you first want to see what you are getting yourself in for, this is a talk Lee gave a few weeks ago in Indiana.  I’ll see if I can embed it below.

A shout-out on my blog for anyone who gets Lee’s “shout-out” joke.

If you are interested in this evolutionary psychology stuff (my research is half evpsych and half perception) you should attend the SPSP Evpsych Preconference in sunny Tampa this February.

Hmm… that didn’t work so well.
